"READY PHONE" SERVICE If you are occupying a location where someone has recently moved out, you will probably find "ready phone" service on standby. To check for "ready phone" availability, plug a phone into a modular block at your new location. If the line is equipped for "ready phone" service you will hear a dial tone, and you will be able to dial 990. If there is no dial tone, or if you have a tone and you cannot dial 990, your phone is not equipped for "ready phone" service. Dialing 990 puts you in touch with our Business Office and your line can usually be connected to the network within 24 hours. Installation cost for "Ready phone" is as low as $20.00, providing you with savings of at least $45.00. CREDIT FOR SERVICE OUTAGES If you are unable to use your telephone line for 24 hours or more due to an INNOVATIVE TELEPHONE service problem, you are entitled to an adjustment of your bill.
